FAQs
We use a LED teeth whitening system which allows us to use high percentage of peroxide to get the best possible result. Our teeth whitening treatment lasts between 3-5 years depending on your diet. Smoking, drinking and food with strong colours such as curry will colour teeth more quickly. You can also purchase our home bleaching kits to top up your treatment.
Yes. Our dentists are registered ACC providers and will take care of all your treatment and the necessary paperwork. Please note that ACC services are not fully funded and you may be required to pay a co-payment on the day. Read more about ACC Dentist Consultations.
We have a wide range of oral hygiene products, from toothpaste, different types of floss, micro brushes, electric toothbrushes and treatments for sensitive teeth.
Yes, we are very passionate about orthodontic work and have 25 years' experience in the area. We gain a lot of satisfaction seeing patients' smiles improve. Orthodontic work not only straightens teeth, it improves speech and the ability to chew food whilst also improving oral hygiene. Most of all, orthodontic work improves your self-confidence which is a wonderful thing. For advanced cases, our dentists will refer you to an orthodontic specialist.
With all complicated procedures like root canals, implants and other surgical procedures, there are a possibility of complications. We do everything in our power to reduce those risks and complications during the procedure and through your post treatment plan.
So long as you see us for regular check ups and hygiene appointments, we will provide a 5 year guarantee on all porcelain crowns and guarantee filling work for between 6 - 12 months depending on the complexity of the work.
Between 60% and 80% of people suffer from some type of tooth sensitivity. Brushing technique, diet and other oral problems such as gum disease are contributing factors. We recommend and supply calcium and phosphate creams and gels to greatly reduce sensitivity.
Cosmetic dentistry gives you back your confidence, by giving you the ability to eat and talk naturally without the fear of dentures moving or falling out. Permanent implants are so much more reliable and they feel natural.
Regularly visits to your dentist (preferably yearly) and good self-management of your oral health is crucial. We recommend brushing twice a day and flossing once a day. It is very important to use the right kind of toothbrush and technique when brushing. We recommend an electric toothbrush if you can afford one, otherwise we recommend a soft toothbrush along with a good technique. The best technique is to use small circular motions on each tooth rather than horizontal across your teeth. Then on a 45 degree angle, brush down from the gum line and do this for each tooth. We also supply a plaque identifier which change plaque to a different colour, so it is easy to see where is clean and where is not.
A good healthy diet, free of excess sugar, alcohol and smoking will also encourage strong oral health. Regular visits to the Oral Hygienist will help you keep your teeth and gums healthy and sparkly clean!

There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to defining a dental emergency as anyone in pain should be seen to as soon as possible. Some examples of this, however, could include:
- Broken tooth and/or tooth trauma
- Knocked out tooth
- Infected gums
- Gum and pulpal abscesses
- Bleeding that won’t stop
- Inflammation around wisdom teeth
If you’re experiencing any of these symptoms, please contact us as soon as possible on (07) 854 8905. Time is always of the essence, especially with any serious infection around the face so don’t delay!
